Curved face with an open top
The curved French/Louis mantel sits over a heavily carved face and integrated legs, with a visible hearth following the opening. White Volakas marble is shown in a honed finish, which reduces reflections across the carved planes. Both views are installed site settings. The upper wall remains open above the shelf because this example has no overmantel, leaving the curve of the mantel as the top edge of the stone composition.
Change the stone or size
Potential alternatives include travertine, green marble, and other natural stones discussed with our team. The White marble fireplace collection provides a direct comparison with nearby pale stones. We can adjust dimensions and produce either a single surround or a larger batch, subject to current stock and the confirmed finish. Ask for advice on how the selected stone should meet the firebox and surrounding wall.
