Straight mantel, dense carving
This French/Louis surround keeps the mantel level while the heavy carving fills the face and integrated legs. A visible hearth runs beneath the opening, giving the lower edge a solid horizontal base. The White Volakas marble is shown with a honed finish in both views. Its straight shelf contrasts with the curved French/Louis examples in this group, but the depth of carving still gives the surround an ornate character.
Select a stone and dimensions
White Volakas marble can be paired with the same profile in travertine, green marble, or another natural stone discussed with our team. Visit White marble fireplaces for nearby examples. The surround can be made to your required measurements and ordered as one piece or in bulk; confirm stock and finish at quotation. The firebox choice and wall conditions should be reviewed with the installer before final drawings.
